What is Jewish History Month?

Jewish History Month is a global initiative celebrated every October to promote Jewish history, Israeli Jewish culture, education, and cultural understanding through local activities and community participation.

What?

Jewish History Month takes place every October to celebrate and share Jewish and Israeli culture.

It’s about fostering understanding, appreciation, and connection to Jewish heritage, for everyone.

Why?

We aim to break stereotypes and misinformation about Jewish people, culture, and history.

After October 7, launched as an initiative to promote Jewish pride, education, and visibility.

When

#EveryOctober- a time of renewal, reflection, and unity.

October is also a period of mourning and remembrance , themes that resonate deeply during Jewish History Month.

Where?

Everywhere. But mostly Berlin.

Take part in activities all month long , visit a museum, enjoy Israeli cuisine, or volunteer , and tag your actions with #JewishHistoryMonth.

Who?

A grassroots initiative. Private. Independent.

It is independent, with no political backing or agenda ,just a collective desire to raise awareness, connect people, and spark meaningful conversations.

How?

Easy. Accessible. For everyone.

Whether you’re a business, school, educator or individual , you can take part. You’re invited to visit museums, enjoy Israeli cuisine, or take part in meaningful volunteer opportunities.
